Dr. Efthimiou is a native of the Youngstown Warren area. He attended Youngstown State University in Youngstown Ohio and later Cleveland chiropractic college in Kansas City Missouri. Dr. Efthimiou received a bachelors of applied science and doctor of chiropractic degree from Cleveland chiropractic college where he graduated in 2001. He also holds several advanced certifications in motor vehicle accidents. work injuries, and spinal decompression, He is also a certified independent medical examiner. Additional certifications in manipulation under anesthesia for chronic neck, low back and extremity injuries and certified in spinal ligament injury diagnosis and treatment. Dr Efthimiou is the only local chiropractic physician on staff at St. Vincent’s Charity Medical Center where he performs manipulation under anesthesia. Dr Efthimiou is an affiliate of St. Vincent Orthopedic and Spine Institute.
He has been recognized nationally and internationally for his leadership and skill, receiving numerous awards and honors, including Crain’s HealthCare Hero award, 16 consecutive Top Doctor citations, and election to the Presidency of the Mid-America Orthopaedic Association, the countries largest regional medical association for Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Dr. Matthew Levy is Board-certified in Orthopedic Surgery and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, Ohio State Medical Association, American College of Surgeons, and Arthroscopy Society of North America. Born and raised in Cleveland, Dr. Matthew Levy worked for 14 years as a team physician for several local sports teams. After graduating from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, he completed his internship and residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He was also fellowship-trained in Sports Medicine and has written extensively on orthopedic issues. Dr. Levy’s expertise in joint replacement and fracture care make him an excellent asset to the Ohio Pain & Rehabilitation practice. At Ohio Pain & Rehabilitation, Dr. Levy provides treatment for foot, ankle, knee, shoulder and hip injuries. He also specializes in work related injuries.
Dr. Brad Picha is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He specializes in both operative and non-operative conditions of the spine as well as general orthopedics. After completing his bachelor of science degree in Biology at Denison University, he went on to attend Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine obtaining his doctorate. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Wright State University and following his residency, Dr. Picha completed a fellowship in adult spine conditions at OrthoIndy in Indianapolis. At Ohio Pain & Rehabilitation Center, he provides advanced treatment for work related or auto related injuries, such as hip injuries.
Alexandra McClurg is a licensed practicing Physician Assistant since 2014. Originally from Canfield, Ohio she received a Bachelor of Science degree from Thiel College and Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Chatham University. Alexandra has a dual specialty in Emergency medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology in two states, Ohio and Pennsylvania. She is currently practicing for Michael Abdul-Malak for Women’s care in Hermitage, Pennsylvania and all Alteon Mercy Health Emergency Department locations. She is excited for the opportunity to utilize her experience in providing personalized care to the patient of Dr. Chris Efthimiou.
